We have been operating a teaching, boarding and training stable in Plainfield, Vermont since 1976.

The farm looks out over the Green Mountains to the West and has about 60 acres of fields.  Our large dressage ring has recently been completely rebuilt, and has state of the art all weather sand and rubber footing.   Our jumping ring has good sand footing; the indoor has sand/rubber mix . Many miles of trails and gravel roads are easily accessible for hacking.

Teaching and training dressage horses and riders from the beginning through Grand Prix is our specialty. We teach children and adults, and also teach hunt seat and jumping. We participate in the Champlain Dressage Schooling Show Series--June 8th this year.

RATES WILL RISE ON JANUARY 1, 2010

We have tried to keep our rates as low as possible during these tough economic times, but we have to raise our rates minimally to keep us current with the changes in our costs.  We have checked around at many farms in Vermont to make sure we are still current with the competition and you will find that for the care and instruction that we provide at East Hill Farm, we are still less expensive than most.  The new rates are as follows:

                          Private on an EHF horse--$55                               $450/month with $30 discount                   Single ride--$50
                          Private on Your horse--$50                                     for maintaining your own stall.                    Full week (5 rides)--$225
                          Semi Private on an EHF horse--$45
                          Semi Private on your horse--$40
