Lavigna

7 year old Danish bred mare with Holsteiner and TB in the pedigree. Beautiful and built to perform. Lavigna was started under saddle in Denmark when she was 4 years old. She then took some time off to have a baby and joined me and Team Poulsen one and a half years ago. Her canter is naturally uphill and has plenty of air time. Her dressage education is correct and classical. She understands connection, some lateral work and has started flying changes.

Lavigna has also been carefully started over cavaletti and small jumps and gymnastics and shows GREAT potential both for the jumper world and the hunter ring. Although I am not a jumping professional, I am told my by jumper colleagues who have jumped her that she is brave, tidy and has a lot of scope. They loved that she already understood balance and adjustability to the jumps.

Lavigna is not for a beginner, as she is sensitive to her riders weight. Her new person should be in control of their own balance and hands. She can be ridden in a frame, on the bit or in a hunter frame. She is not hot but has a good motor. Please call me for more details or if you have any questions.  She is in Florida.

I am taking a huge loss at offering her at 30,000 $, but I am only allowed to ride one horse a day after my shoulder surgery, so the youngsters need new good homes.
 

 

Harley

Harley is a wonderful and charming Oldenburg cross. He has been in proper training for over a year, and shows tons of heart, effort and potential in what ever we ask him to do. Standing 17.3, he is a large boy, but sweet and light to ride. Easy for the vet, farrier, trailering, etc. His striking black and white color makes him stand out anywhere we go. His owner has to sadly sell due to health issues. Harley has been to a few shows, trail ridden, traveled to FL, and steps up to the plate every time when asked. He is an easy keeper and goes out alone or with others. Although he is big, you easily forget that he stands 17.3 hands when working or riding him. He is not wide to sit on and is very comfortable to ride. Still young and learning at 6 years old, Harley shows great heart and effort in learning what we teach him. Although he has had much professional training, he is simple and straight forward for an amateur. (His mom had been riding him regularly until recently). Shilo

Shilo is sadly for sale.

Shilo is a wonderful large (14.1 ) pony with a permanent USEF pony card. He has shown extensively in pony hunters and open hunters, as well as in the VHJA pony medal classes. Shilo is always in the ribbons and great at pony hunters and eq classes. He is also schooled through 1st level dressage. Great changes for the H/J circuit. Shilo's mom Willa is going to college, and must part with him. Shilo has great references! Super 3 foot pony and cute to boot.  Shilo is in Vermont.
